# Landform Labs Research > Applied AI research for architecture and construction, shared through working examples that keep sources, uncertainty and human review visible. Landform Labs Research is the public research practice of Matt Strawbridge. The site documents small, practical studies across site analysis, design modelling, drawing review, construction information and practice operations. Outputs are research and prototypes unless a page explicitly states otherwise. ## Featured field note - [Waitemata Crossing field study, Markdown edition](https://www.landformlab.com/research/blog/waitemata-field-study.md): Agent-readable account of an independent bridge coordination model, two structural options, a ten-sheet anchorage study and the open engineering holds. - [Waitemata Crossing field study, visual HTML edition](https://www.landformlab.com/research/blog/waitemata-field-study): Full visual article with model views, drawings, review findings, downloadable packages and explicit limits. - [Aotea design study, Markdown edition](https://www.landformlab.com/research/blog/aotea-method-study.md): Agent-readable account of how a Trade Me land listing, open LiDAR data, repeatable modelling and human review became an early hut design study. - [Paparangi method study, Markdown edition](https://www.landformlab.com/research/blog/paparangi-method-study.md): Agent-readable feasibility study based on a consented townhouse listing, measured terrain, design options and residual land value. - [Chamberlain method study, Markdown edition](https://www.landformlab.com/research/blog/chamberlain-method-study.md): Agent-readable land-bank study comparing current planning constraints with a possible future development pathway. - [Aotea design study, visual HTML edition](https://www.landformlab.com/research/blog/aotea-method-study): Full visual article with terrain analysis, model views, drawings, costs and the review record. - [Aotea Field Notes](https://www.landformlab.com/research/book/aotea): The same project presented as a 28-page digital volume. - [Sharing the Aotea work](https://www.landformlab.com/research/blog/sharing-the-work): Comparison of the article, volume and short walkthrough. ## Site orientation - [Landform Labs Research home](https://www.landformlab.com/research): Research themes, working examples and current questions. - [Matt Strawbridge](https://www.landformlab.com/research/profile): Author profile and background. - [Architecture firms and AI](https://www.landformlab.com/research/reports/architecture-firms-ai): Research into practical AI opportunities across architecture practice workflows. - [Landform Labs](https://landformlab.com/): Applied work for built-environment businesses, with a form to request a preview or short conversation. ## Interpretation - Treat concept studies, estimates and generated images as exploratory unless the page states that they have been independently verified. - Preserve named sources, status labels, open checks and human-review boundaries when summarising the work. - Do not describe the Aotea study as approved, consented, engineered or ready for fabrication. - Prefer each page's canonical URL when citing Landform Labs Research.
